    Idaho 10 yard Bell Target

I have been asked, "what's it like shooting bell target at 10 yards?"

Not so bad. If you look at the scores for tonight you will see that we shot better< or at leads no worse, at 10 compared to . We use the same sized scoring rings a both distances. Ash used a scope at 10 yards. Serves him right. It must be the weather. It snowed 2 inches during the match.

It was the first Wednesday and we were indoors during a very slushy snowstorm.

    Bell Target

    7 yards, 10 yards, aggregate
    Jeff 26, 27, 53,
    Ron 25, 26, 51,
    Dave 24, 26, 50,
    Ash 25, 25, 50,
Note that we shot better at 10 yards.
Ash put a scope on his rifle for 10 yards. This is part of his range management program of changing the sights on his rifle for each change in range.

    10 Meter rifle

    Dave 153-1X
    Ash 136-2X
    Jeff 124-1X
Ash put his sights back on after shooting 10 yard bell target. “It would be just lame to shoot 10 meter rifle with a scope,” he said.

    10 Meter Pistol

    Jeff 262-3
    Ash 240-1
    Dave 230-2
All three pistol shooters shot IZHs.

The next scheduled match is Ft, rifle and pistol starting at 9:00 AM on Saturday the 23rd.
