Royal Mail is the only LEGAL way!!!

Parcelforce is NOT Royal Mail, PF prohibit guns,

For any other carrier refer to their prohibited item list, they prohibit guns,

the likes of "parcel2go" prohibit guns even if the actual carrier does not,

so IF something goes wrong they can refuse to pay compensation.

Agreed. However, the OP is a new member and asked politely. Hopefully the link will answer his query.

It's a large forum which takes some time to find your way around, additionally the search function isn't always that helpful.

I've just had 2 HW100's in to Hull Cartridge for a service, I used a courier called Hermes to send them.
They were returned today by Parcel Force.

I think parcel force deliver guns if you have a contract with them. They don't (knowingly) deliver for private individuals.

To save AB's blood pressure rising any further following his Dri-slide decorating...

-Hermes specifically exclude firearms (para.4), which includes airguns, so you would have been unable to claim compensation if lost.

-For contract customers (presumably HC are), PF may carry certain firearms if specific conditions are met.
