Have a word with Harry and Sue Preston, they have the spacers which you use as well as the 232bar adaptor in a 300 fitting, it works a treat and saves having 2 adaptors

    Hi,

Yep - this is the bit you need.

I've got one semi- permanently fitted to my 300Bar bottle - works with all the myriad of adaptors that the various manuafacturers insist on making (including the for the Steyr)

Thanks guys for your replies, Drew, the link does not work. (TC I'm not sure if that will work with the Steyr.)

Best Fittings also do a spacer that allows a 232 bar fitting to be used in a 300 bar filler.

It's also around £4.50,so the cheaper option, and it can also be used with any other 232 fitting you have, so saves you buying a new one of each.

    Kind regards,

    Phil

    Tap Washers

    Hello
I just put two big tap washers beneath the 200 bar fitting to fill the gap. It works fine, and cost about £1. I am obviously mindful not to overfill the Steyr Cylinders.

It may not be the 'ideal' scenario, but it works and its cheap.

Alternatively search 'steyr fitting' on , their is a company who produce elongated fittings..... or speak to Harry P!
