    Question Nikon Buckmaster Side Focus

Once again, the expert opinion of the forum is requested.

Two new toys are to arrive soon and both of them need new eyes.

For the one toy, I got the Big BSA 10-50x60 - Such is to be used for field target.

The other toy, of equal accuracy is intended for everyday fun. Some claim this toy is good to 70 yards on a .20. So my question has come down to which scope?

I have concluded that side focus parallax adjustment makes it a bit easier when you have the destination on the dot. Mil Dot is also desirable. Being in the U.S. Bushnell is a great glass at a great price, but no SF on the high end.

So, since the whole budget has gonne to the toys and the big BSA, I am looking at the Nikon BuckMaster 4.5-14x40 Mdot with the SF. The price is great but could not find it in a store to check the glass.

Any comments on that? (the Hawke/deben idea was dismissed in a previous post).

Pictures to follow when the toys arrive.

Thank you again for the great input.

Had a play with the Nikon Monarch over the weekend, not sidewheel but glass was superb, unfortunately non-mildot too, otherwise it'd be perfect for HFT.
    I'm telling you it moved!
