I'm glad you asked, red bob. I was a little unsure, and the lack of the 'inner ten ring' on the Air 8 cards threw me a little.

If I'm right (and I hope I am!), there are no 10s on this practice card:

    I make that: two 9s, two 8s, and a 7.

You are correct - not a 10 in sight !

This is something the 6 yard competitors are having to get used to

Who said shooting at 6 yards was too easy - especially with an MPL legal air pistol

    Thanks for the confirmation, Bob!

I don't think it's easy... In fact, once I'd measured out 6 actual yards and looked back at the target - I could have easily talked myself out of the whole thing

Ian Jones is the 2013 6 yard MPL Champion.

Ian Jones (IJ) was presented with his individually crafted trophy for winning the first series of the 6 yard MPL postal series in the RMTC range tonight.

The trophy virtually dwarfed him and made it a very emotional affair.

Although I took some pictures with my trusty iPhone Ian has asked if these can be held back until he has had a chance to place his magnificent trophy on the bonnet of his Mazda sports car to give it some sense of scale.

Fear not - the delay will not be too long and I hope everyone that sees it will agree that IJ thoroughly deserves the effort that Phil (pmh) put in to make this such a personalised award that has been customised specifically to recognise Ian's "larger then life" character.
