Hi Paul - the results are a little delayed as we encouraged late entries and have succeeded in gaining a few - as well as a couple of shooters that have not returned their scores yet (!) .

We still hope for some more late entries - so if you shoot a .177 air pistol you would be very welcome to join us at any time.

As soon as the results are ready I will remind Phil of your invitation to display them on UBC.

I can give you a small snippet to be going on with - I used one of my Model 10 pistols that has just been rebuilt and it was dieseling like crazy as it chucked my RWS Meisterkugeln pellets at the target in a fairly haphazard way ....but it was good fun and it should start to settle down soon - hopefully before I use it for the July cards !

Thanks for your continuing interest - I can send you an entry pack tomorrow if you would like to accept the challenge

    Hi Paul,

We may well run a 6 yard postal Classic Carbon League - run like the 6 yard MPL series - but for CO2 pistols.

Let me know if this would interest you.

Thanks Bob, but I'll stick to our UBC Co2 comps for now. Mine are all CP88's not single shot.

Sorry for the delay, but the scores are now up.

There are still a few late entrants/shooters on holiday, and I will update these at the earliest opportunity.

It is worth mentioning that the Round scores are posted in the order in which they were received.

    Kind regards,

    Phil

Just a quick reminder, it's the last day for July 's round tomorrow.

Late entrants do, of course, have time to catch up.

    Kind regards,

    Phil

Approximately half way through the month now, and still some outstanding scores for July, and a couple for June!

Please could you get these in as soon as possible.

    Kind regards,

    Phil

Please submit Your Scores as Quickly as Possible

There seems to be a taper off in people sending in scores on time, so I have posted the results I have to date.

Whilst it is ok for late entrants to catch up, anybody starting the competition on time should make a reasonable effort to submit their scores by the designated time.

    Kind regards,

    Phil

    Phew!

Very welcome to see the July scores posted. I check this board daily and had to double take as the expected lack of scores was replaced by a brand spanking new set for July!

    Hooray to all entrants.

Really great to see the contingent of Walther LP53's go up to three this round. My pistol of choice for this comp.

Scores for August are coming in and there's no going back so roll on September.

BTW - anybody else's shooting range get decidedly wet in yesterday's downpour? Been mopping out for half the night!

I can understand the frustration in waiting to see the scores, it really is an effort to get people to submit them on time!

As such, in future, I will post them shortly after the 5th deadline date , and those who have not submitted them by then will just have to wait.

There are one or two large entrants who need to catch up, but everybody else had no real excuse for being late, sigh.

    Kind regards,

    Phil
