    Suitable gun for hft

    Just back shooting after 20 odd year break, bought an hw100 and a eb sniper for hft now looking to upgrade thinking of lg110 ft, isp airstream, ev2 or one of the suitable daystates,some opinion help please!

    none of the guns you've mentioned will do anything that the hw100 can't. the hw100 is one of the best rifles on the market.

    whs^ I have an lg110 and a hw 100 and there really is nothing in it, scopes on the other hand

    Sensible idea. I would only change between these if I was not happy with the balance or weight. Gun fit and balance are the main things as they are all pretty good. The standard HW stock can be improved, but so can the Steyr hunter.

    A good stock on any of the decent guns is ideal, but the scope choice is a minefield. I have lost count of the number of scopes that I have tried.

    I would keep the HW100, I've got one at the moment and is doing a good job for me, I would look at stock choice though, as I find the 100 standard stock a bit boring and a tad short.
