    Thanks for the reply dude.
I have accupell and was wondering if there was owt heavier.
I have rats the size of small dogs to shift and was looking for a real heavyweight over the close range. Maybe 18 grain plus?

If your rifle is accurate with the Accupell stick with them, they will deal with rats no problem, it might even be worth trying JSB's although they are a bit lighter at 13.4gn they are softer than Accupell so might flatten to do more soft tissue damage?

Whichever you use a head shot will kill them.

For close work where accuracy isnt a problem, try putting the pellets in backwards, increases mushrooming A LOT!

ffs hit em in the head with the most accurate pellet in your gun they wont run off its not rocket science all this crap about needing big pellets for rats is nonsence if you put a pellet in backwards or use an inaccurate pellet you will hit em wrong and they will run off and you will think you need a bigger sledge hammer to crack your atb tony nut pellet placement is every thing!

Sorry to drag this from the grave but I'm interested in the heaviest .20 pellet for power setting. Will never use them in the field as I prefer trajectory of an 11ish grain pellet. But using the heavy weights will allow me to set the gun up so it is legal with all pellets in the .20 range.

There's nothing that says the heaviest gives the highest ME, the most EFFICIENT IN YOUR RIFLE will give the highest reading which could be any of them.
