    Rochford agc 7th july results

    Well we couldn't have asked for a better day weather wise, lovely and warm and sunny, very nice. An excellent turnout today, 50 shooters on site and 29 attempted the course. Great course today even though I'm still managing to hit some of the left over bluebell stalks.
    Well done to all and especially Dave and Rex who managed to score their pb's today.

    Thanks Harry. No, he who allegedly must be obeyed, won't let me use that. I can't even use my shotty. Miserable old git.

    I'm sure I could do even better every week with that.

    One of those weeks when everything fell into place. Oh that could happen every week? Looking forward to the next one though.

    Good banter, good food, good course and of course great weather. What better way is there of spending a Sunday? Well I could think of one way but that would be rude and as you know, I'm not like that.

    Your personal best for this seasons open comp was on the 1st shoot of our season 14 -oct- 12 and you scored 58.

    Doesn't anyone ever look at the scores on the club's website?

    Oh my word, good gracious, I stand corrected oh almighty one. You should know by now that I have trouble remembering one day from the next. It is Wednesday today ain't it? Hang on, if it's Wednesday I should have played golf today. I can't remember if I played so it may be Thursday? No I would remember having gone clay shooting? Hey, Ho, life is so hectic!

    It's all down to age.
