    That's very kind of you John oh chief woolyback, head Val Doonigan tribute band member and cardigan wearer (Sheffield Chapter) , we'll be starting fishing trips for soldiers suffering PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) over the next few weeks so if its OK I'll add your kind gift to the other tackle these young squaddies will be using. Unless of course it was made in France and has Mitchell on it . Then I'll slobber all over it and manically hug it close to my person .

    Unfortuneltly due to family matters which I just become aware of yesterday, I wont be able to attend this event on the particular weekend.
    I'm asking round my circle of "air gunning" friends for a stand-in and will come back if successful to update.

    Wow you are the 2nd person who has said a similar thing today, that's a downer John , certainly hope your team can still make it, we've not had much success raising teams from the collectables section. I am starting to think this thread may have been better on the Non Airgun Section.

    Hiya Mick, safety brief is at 11am. The format is a standard 30 target HFT course. There are secondary targets alongside the standard targets for those using open sights in the vintage classes.

    great to see this is attracting such a wide support from all over;its going to take some organising ,hats off to all those doing the work on this.im wodering if the car park outside the venue is big enough!

    Time to ressurect this thread as a reminder for this inaugural shoot next Sunday.

    I'll be bringing the Quigley target along from Bisley for those who want to have a go at open sights at 60 yards!

    I look forward to meeting up with old friends and meeting new ones as well as having a shoot with an old gun in like minded company.
