    Thanks for the help Troubledshooter. I jibbed at trying to do it for him but will have a go soon 'cos the lifetime project has started and someone may be interested.

    webley mk2

    take it apart , you wont need a spring compressor for this gun. its a lovely bit of engineering & really simply built . I bought a horrible one just to restore it , well worth the experience . good choice . shame that the materials that webley specified deteriorated over the years . point in case tempest,typhoon & hurricane , cheap castings , plastic , split pins ... though quite nice funky designs .
