    MFR to MK2 conversions

I've decided I prefer the weight and balance of the mk2 and have consequently put my FAC MFR in the for sale section. But I'm wondering whether I'd be better off hanging onto it and just converting it to take a 400c bottle, mk2 stock, barrel etc.

Any one have any experience/thoughts on the above?

lionel. i had the same thoughts as you about the mfr/mk2, but i ended up making a new stock to suit the 280cc bottle and used the standard 16" barrell with logun silencer and converted it to 177 along the way. balance is very nice with the smaller bottle.
will mail you a pic later.

Very nice. That's not a standard mk2 stock is it?

Waste of time lional,if you like the feel of the mk2 then get one,but I would'nt convert the one to the other, they are both lovely guns in their own glory,I've got the both and it's nice to switch from one to the other,MFR 27,5ftlb with add on silencer using AAfields5.52 what a tool, then mk2 with bennys special barrel29.7ftlb bis mags .22 awesome ,woodies and bunnies dont stand a chance, both are bad newes,so I would leave the mfr alone.

ps.how are you getting on with the book?
