Hawke Nite Eye Digi IR SF 3-12 x 50

    Hi All

Have just set up my new scope with BKL medium double strap mounts on my daystate merlyn.
Its a Hawke Nite Eye Digi IR SF 3-12 x 50 with Half mill dot ret
Im still running it in really and have yet to test it at all ranges etc.

Im not professional enough to give a review as well as some but from my perspective

    Pros
    Nicley graduated aimpoints
Good enough glass for me (and for the money)
I find it to be clear
nicely designed ret (I like the skeleton posts)
    low profile turrets
    lifetime gaurantee
    Reset to zero feature
    Love the BKL mounts

    Cons (possibly.?)
Adjustment is stiff (but its very new)
    instructions were a bit vague
    MOA clicks a little vague
Rangefinding a little off (not fussed i use a RF)
Some may find the half duplex ret cluttered its a little bit marmite.

Hi Paul, I've my got one on my HMR and I'm not sure if it is a true mil dot at x10 when I tested it against one of these downloadable targets: http://www.bfto.org.uk/hfthints.htm

I'd be interested to hear your findings
