Brocock Concept s6 probe won't go forward?

    Hi all

Just had a session with my new favourite toy, but after 100 shots the probe is now refusing to drive home?
it cocks back fine, but then only returns midway before firmly stopping. It decocks ok, and can't see anything jammed in the slide. Seems the wrong side of the breach to be leaded up?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Rich

Put some silicone oil on the rubber ring in the magazine.

    Worth a try but....

It doesn't go forward even without a mag in it?
    Thanks

I had the same problem on a Grand Prix 6 pistol.
    That fixed it.
I can't remember whether it stuck without the mag but I think it did.
Otherwise it would not have puzzled me as much as it did at the time!

Hello, I dont know if it is the same problem as mine but a grub screw had come adrift and upset the bolt and indexing. Sent back to Brocock and it was sorted. If I may ask please how old. Mine lasted 4 days.
    Cheers.

Sounds similar, as definitely feels like something is catching in the block between the bolt handle and the breach.
Bought a couple of weeks ago in as new condition so not sure of age. Will try and get hold of the seller, but will have to find out if warranty would be transferable. Thanks for the info

There's a small allen key located at the back of the bolt
They sometimes work loose make sure that its tight
My sons slackened off and he had similar problems once it wad tightened up
Everything re aligned and that sorted it.
I hope yours is the same once sorted its a brilliant we rifle

    Great info, thanks very much.
I'm at work but the rifle is in my boot, so will sneak out at lunch and have a look. Fingers crossed!
    Thanks again

    Makes sense.
Mine was sent back to Brocock under warranty.
It came back to the shop marked no fault found.
The fault was still there but when I lubed the mag it worked fine and continues to do so!

Maybe they just tightened that allen bolt.

    Fixed!

Thanks for all the suggestions. Turned out it was the shuttle and bearing jamming inside the cam cover and restricting the bolt.
Also adjusted the allen bolt, but word of warning to anyone else with one - don't unscrew the back of the bolt as well! (unless you are doing a complete strip) Otherwise you end up with the tiny spring and bearing in your 'spares' box
The rifle still jams up every few mags, but have a new shuttle on order and at least it's a quick fix when it does occur.

Could also explain why lubing the mag has remedied for some, as imagine the lube will also affect the bearing in the cam housing and could free it up?

    Thanks
