They are very good and cheaper than Royal Fail. I'm not sure about the insurance options but when I spoke to them any thing like that will be in the cab with the driver and be made a priority drop.

Shame ParcelForce don't update their website to avoid all this confusion!
That was the link we have posted() before in the many other posting threads.

Because of the amount of different, outdated and plain wrong information posted on here I do wish the old sticky "RM must carry air guns" would be removed and replaced with the current rules, a link to the leaflet and a warning that the RM/Parcelforce web sites are out of date.

It would be of huge benefit to everyone concerned.

The best thing would be to sticky this in Gerneral Airgun too tbh, the amount of times it comes up

    Can that be done?

Could you insert the link to the current leaflet ( effective 15/7/2013) in your sticky so that it may be printed off or shown to Post Office staff?

TBH I don't see how there can be any confusion ?? but as your pistol will be within RMSD size limits, send it RMSD.
If a rifle is too big for RMSD size limits then use Parcelforce 48 only, not any other Parcelforce service.

I have seen so many threads lately about this I thought I would put this up.
This company WILL carry air rifles. I have spoken to both the partners and told them of the problem we are facing with Royal Fail and he is sympathetic to our cause.
The company is called A W Express based in Rugby Warwickshire they specialise in National and international light freight
    Contact no. Tel: 01788 330700Fax: 01788 571425 Website:www.awexpress.com
They will only ship rifles if they are properly boxed in card.I didn't ask them about insurance costs or availability but you can ask them on contact. He told me they would charge between £12 & £20 depending on places of pick up and destination

From another thread not my post.
    Hope this helps
