well went for the kranks stuff 2 bottles should do but whislt i was there!!!
got few bits more wads caps,ball mould, 6 nipples ,spray and a .Pietta Remington 1858 Army Target Stainless

When cleaning just take the wood grips off, take the cylinder out, barrle/frame and cylinder in hot soapy water and get bussy with the mop/jag then rinse in very hot water (helps dry the internals) finish drying (some use the oven! No I'm not kidding, some even use the dish washer to clean the gun) use oil/spray on moving parts and give the inside of the barrle and cylinder a light coating of oil using a mop/jag, sounds like a long job but 5mins and it's back together. No Bp solvent needed or wire brushes
I found with my roger & spencer the bottom of grip was digging in to the parm of my right hand so I glued a block of wood to the bottom of each grip and shaped then to the grip this improved the handling of the gun for me (I can still remove the grips)

Needless to say I was behind the firing line and about 6m to the right of the shooter having ago of my gun
Colors are origonal and not retuched, I had to play the camcorder back in slow motion as it was recording to the computer then play back frame by frame to get the pics, each pic is from a different triger pull, it happens that fast

do you have a photo of the grip ? hoping at some point today to pull it apart for bit of clean an little lube.

Firstly congratulations on getting the Remington. Love the action shots of the Rogers going bang! The middle picture shows just how much gas
escapes from the nipple and cylinder areas. You certainly dont want your hand anywhere but on the grip when squeezing the trigger. Tim

my wood working skills are not that good but the block on the right side of the grip has a slight groove so it will go over the frame. as i said before the grips can be removed
