    Combro and small diameter barrels

    Got my combro today

its working fine with my rifles but when i try to use it with the pistols and their smaller barrels im either getting a bad or nothing im pretty sure this is because they sit lower and are shooting below the sencors does anyone have a way around this ?
At the moment im using the suggested method of a rubber band around the barrel and rest

    thanks

Maybe you could use some garden hose (split) to sleeve the barrel and effectively thicken it up...

    Just a thought...

It might not be exactly the answer you're looking for , but I found that velcro is loads better than rubber bands. Used like this, with the fuzzy bit glued to the cradle thing, the bit with the hooks on can be pulled pretty tight round the barrel.

FWIW I painted some reference marks on the outside of where the sensors are (the red lines) to make lining up the barrel c/l a bit easier, without having to look down the end...

Probably not too much help, really...

I built up the inside of the mount with some rubber trips which can be added/removed to allow for different barrel sizes.

Erm... I've had no problems getting it to work with any of my rifles. Just adjust the little ramp/thing until its all lined up.

I don't bother with rubber bands, I just clamp the thing to my barrel with my hand (making sure my fingers are out of the way )

Wink combro and small diameter barrels

I tried rubber bands and velcro for attaching my combro.Found the best thing was plastic 'coasters' used for attaching reels to fishing rods (obtainable from Tackle Shops) sold in pairs, but only 1 needed for approx £3.00 per pair. Excess plastic can be trimmed of. Adjustable to fit all barrels, even with silencers on. Combo doesn't move.

    hope this helps.

Coasters are the way to go with a Combro.

I found I got better results if I left a 1/2" gap between the barrel end and the Combro. Fewer BaD readings.
