    Strange pistol that never came to pass.

    Hi all,

    Have already posted about these over on the UBC, but I thought that the people here might also be interested. Anyway here's a link I came across today about a type of pellet firing CO2 pistol that never made it into production, because the company that was to produce them sadly went under. Fairly similar to the Umarex type of mechanism but with a twist;

    http://www.muzzle.de/N6/CO2/SigSauer_P2 ... -_iwg.html

    From that page, as Google Translate is a bit literal, I can't tell whether they were blow backs or not, personally I suspect not. Either way a shame they weren't produced even though, as the prototype with the broken trigger suggests, they would have had build quality issues.

    I'll try to re post t here;

    http://www.muzzle.de/N6/CO2/SigSauer_P2 ... -_iwg.html

    But I don't think this forum's whatever likes the gap between the p2 and the iwg part. Alternatively just highlight and paste the link.
