would you be looking for a traditional spring pistol or a newer pneumatic or c02 pistol ?
I am completely new to the world of air pistols although I regularly shoot air rifles and I was wondering what people would recommend as a first pistol for plinking around the garden? Im looking for something under the £100 mark.
Any ideas would be much appreciated!
Thanks

Answered your other thread, doh.
Yeh, Another person recommended I post in this section as well.
Buying new or 2nd hand?
New could get you a
Crosman 2240 (CO2) Tinkerers dream, infinitely customisable and dead simple. Quite pokey. CO2 is a running cost though.
Beeman P17/2004E (SSP) Cheap copy of HW40, accurate but needs a small mod for long term reliability.
Browning Buckmark URX (springer) Low powered springer, fairly accurate with decent irons and a top rail, but a heavy trigger.
Baikal MP53M (springer) Agricultural, but well engineered and a lot of gun for the money. Not a bad trigger..
Gamo P25/P85 (CO2, multishot, blowback) don't know
Gamo P900 (springer) don't know
Webley Typhoon (springer) don't know
Haven't used the last three but any of the first four would make fine garden plinkers. Is noise an issue? Because the 2240 is Loud...
You could always get a bb gun too, the tanfoglios witness is great fun
