    Original model 22

Yesterday my Original model 22 in .177 arrived which i purchased through gunstar
    as it turns out!
It is a little on the scruffy side and has been used for target practice at some stage? as there are a few
pellet indentations on the stock? 5 hits on left and 3 on the right! .22 i guess by the size! And not a very good grouping either?

all i can find marking wise is the Original in quotation marks engraved in fancy writing on the top
    behind that is model 22
on the left in tiny writing is engraved made in Germany
    No Dovetails just basic sights
the reason i bought it is that i had one of these as a teenager in the 70's
but it does not give year of manufacture?

The Original mod 22 was my first air rifle as an eleven year old, back on Christmas day 1977. I sold it a few months later to help fund a bsa mercury.
I have another one now, along with a Diana 22, one each for my two boys. I believe the webley jaguar is almost identical too.
