In freezing conditions any oil/grease will thicken and slow, you also have the issue of metal contracting/expanding with tempriture and in extreme cases becomming brittle so yes a springer can freeze to a point where the performance is effected.

    No idea about the HW.

As posted before, grease and oil will thicken as the temperature drops, so
slowing down moving parts that are in contact with the lube.
The HW100 is fully regulated, some say its semi or pseudo regulated but that's
    not true.

As above but unless you are talking silly temperatures in the real world low temperatures don't make any real difference to performance.

    Kindest regards

Springers tend to increase in power as it gets colder over winter.

I shot mine several times last winter in freezing temps and it shot about 30fps higher than it did when the temp was @ 10 C ( 0.177 ).

I suppose there may be a point at minus something silly where the grease gets that solid that they won't shoot ... but I've shot on days when it's been minus a few and it still works fine.
