Hammerli Single

I'm considering getting a Hammerli Single. I shot one last week and liked it very much.
What I would like to know, is there much handling differential, with the short barrel opposed to the Lang version of this pistol.
The only one I can find for sale at the moment is the Lang version and I'm not sure if that would be rather front heavy.

There is very little handling difference,unless the pistol is fitted with the optional barrel shroud,although that can be easily removed.

The benefit of the 'lange' model is that it uses standard 12grm CO2 bulbs and has a longer sight radius. The 'kurz' models can only use the 8grm powerlets.

Trigger units and sights are the same.

Hi Mark, thanks for the info. Will the Lange take any or most 12gr CO2 that are on the market and are CO2 bulbs all equal?
I do know that some have a screw thread but I think the Hammerli takes the standard type, i.e. none screw.
I think its your Hammerli that I have been pondering over.
