how quiet can you make a crosman 2240

I'm thinking about buying a 2240 for close range use in some farm buildings. tried one and s#/% they are loud!

has anyone got one on here that they have managed to quieten down so your ears don't bleed when you fire it?

I've got a HW100 that is whisper quiet, Is it possible to get the 2240 to go this quiet?

Me too. My first thoughts were sell it - that would make it really quiet

But then I tried one...then I bought one...great little pistol.

So all these tips will be useful when I get over the novelty of an airgun that actually makes a decent noise and want to tame it like the OP

I must admit I like the noise of a 2240.

My silencer of choice is a Twink.
