WEBLEY MK.1 post war slant grip...for sale

I have to raise some cash so this one has to go.
A very good post war slant grip mk.1 pistol dated 1957 ,in .22 calibre. As you can see from the pictures the pistol is in very good cosmetic condition indeed.
Mechanically it has had a new mainspring ,piston seal and breech seal earlier this year. Cocks and fires very smoothly and has a very good trigger pull making this one very accurate .
The only negative is that there is a chip out of the bottom edge of the left hand grip.
two weeks ago I took this pistol to my hft club to have a plink with after the shoot. I tried it at the 12 yard pigeon and dropped it on the second shot ( first shot for a sighter).
Whoever buys this will have a very good shooter indeed.
I would like £70 for this f2f or will post rmsd for an extra £15.00.

Hi Eric,

Sorry - I just happened to see it and was impressed by the overall condition for the price and I am very much looking forward to receiving it and shooting it. This will be my first Mk 1 and it will be interesting to compare it with my Senior.

I just happened to be in the right place at the right time on this occasion - but as I am not able to scan the BBS as often as I would like and I have also missed many interesting items in the past as I did not see them soon enough.

I hope you find another Mk 1 like this soon and if I see anything similar at the same sort of price I will let you know.

The Mk 1 arrived safely and I am very pleased with it - but I would just like to mention that Pete is a very nice person to buy from and that I cannot praise him enough for his kindness and his excellent communications.
