with minimal pre-load, enough clearance can be gained on any of the break barrels, except perhaps the short barreled gasrams - I cock my HW 95 (as I do all my break barrels) is this fashion - much safer
I've taken a liking to the feature I've found so far on the Diana 24, Webley Vulcan and BSA Lightning. That is, one can pop open the breech much like a single or double-barrelled shotgun. While all springers appear similar, not all allow for FULL clearance for loading the pellet, such as with Weirauch's. That way, I can concentrate fully on cocking and restraining the barrel without having to balance loading in the same step.
Tell me, are there other springers which share this feature? Current, or out of production, either is fine.

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
