An excellent review of this superb bit of kit I also use a web cam cos I'm old and the mincers are not what they used to be. However if you don't want to go to that trouble you can use one of these magnifying shaving mirrors and turn the scales away from you

I bought a 'set' from Allan in August.... cracking bit of kit and way cheaper than the electronic scale trickler sets.

Set up on a couple of £7.99 granite/marble chopping board/worktop savers from Argos drilled for a set of adjustable hi-fi/speaker spikes to get the scale dead level..... bits of plastic stuck with double sided tape to locate the bits in the same place everytime....... works very well.

The only change I made was to the little camera that came with it..... if Allan hasn't already done it, I took(rubbed) off the small self-adhesive pad under the sprung clip so it now sits flat on the bracket... and adjusted(bent) that so it sits square to the scale pointer.
