    Sorry !

One weekend this/last Summer (remember it ?) quite a few of us, primarily Spring Gun enthusiasts, gathered together in a field near Coventry, camped out, shot our precious air rifles and generally had a great time !

Its threatened we may do the same again next year on a date to be arranged !

    Watch this space !

Would a pistol nut be acceptable?

Mind I will also bring my trusty HW35E (bought new about 32 years ago).

That would very much depend on whether said nut had come off a Springer pistol or a PCP...

    See you there mate

TinBum will be ever so excited to hear that you are bringing one of his HW favourites

I think a nut would be OK, even a bolt too - but not a whole pistol, surely?

Seriously though, if its a springer, why not? Someone brought a nice Scorpion last time.

P.S. if you manage to hit the "Quigley Bucket" with a pistol, I would think you'll be a BBS legend.

    Nice one Matty!

The Tinman has been playing lots with 77s recently, amassing a HUGE 35 collection has got to be the next logical step!

On a quite recent thread, Mick said that the next bash might be made open to all types of powerplant.

Wouldn't have thought that pistols will be a problem, we'll probably even have a bespoke, 25 yards pistol Quigley bucket! And I could bring the 45, 40, 1377, 2240 and Tempest.

    Bring it on!!!!!

With reference to this query, and true to form, I've bumped the original thread in the General Airgun Section.....Have a look.

Also, if you get to Smith's, with this month's Airgun World, you'll find the October issue of Airgunner bundled in as a freebie, and our very own Amac did us proud with a write-up.

The Bash was the high point of my entire year. Meeting up with so many genuinely nice, like-minded enthusiasts. I got to meet loads of nice people on here, that you felt you already knew so well. but far better to meet face to face. Far too many to list. As soon as I pulled in to the field, I had a lump in my throat. The day was brilliant, despite the inclement weather's best efforts to ruin it periodically. Time just flew by, and before I knew it, and certainly a long time before I felt ready, I had to, sadly, leave for home.

    Bring on the 2014 bash.......
