Red face Flippin'eck!! Just bought another HW35 :(

    Hi all

Just when I decided I was going to reduce the collection considerably, i've gone and bought another one

It's a HW35 Hofmann Premier, the poor thing has been abused somewhat and the Trigger is u/s but it was only £50 ..

The trigger is a 3 piece laminate sear type, I already have one that's partly working so I think i'll have to strip one and stone it up (seems they go rounded with wear and won't latch on), I may have to replace the whole Rekord unit if I can't do anything with the two I have!!

The rifle is graunchy on cocking and the leather piston seal has split almost fully around so that will need replacing..

The stock is in good order with just a couple of marks, one dent and one scratch!

I was also offered a Daisy pneumatic pistol that was immaculate and boxed but leaking
The lad wanted £100 for it.... I didn't bother with that, he paid £15 for it

I think the Hofmann may get a professional reblue if I can get it shooting OK

Them Facebook airgun groups are going to skint me proper

I believe the 'men in white coats' are on their way round now

You should write a book on the art of bargain air rifle acquisition

    Thumbs up

    Hi

I'm not stripping the stock as the small amount of damage doesn't really warrent it (My hands may not hold out to the end of another stock refurb either )

    I'll just repair the damage

Cheers Dave, I do love the old 35s

BSF Bayern Not my favourite BSF as although its built like a brick out hose it reminds me to much of a Relum Tornado.
