    Webley Hurricane

I picked up a Webley Hurricane that was advertised in the sales section this afternoon - the pistol looked OK but had the rear sight adjusting screw missing from the rear sight assembly.

Not a big deal, but when I got home I noticed that the rear sight was actually a cast alloy item of a similar size and shape - but it is not the regular plastic type that they come with. Maybe it is off of a Webely air rifle of some sort?

New rear sight assemblies complete are £25 new from Chambers - but they are out of stock

Does anybody have a rear sight assembly from a Hurricane or a Typhoon they would like to sell or px with this metal type by any chance?

Thanks Ian - but I have tracked it down - it was the rear sight off of the Webley Omega.

I know you are a Webley pistol fan so I will let you have a shoot with it at RMTC on Thursday

When you mentioned Webley and 'cast alloy' I thought Omega/Eclipse. Would the back sight off a Vulcan fit the Hurricane?

Is the Vulcan rearsight the same as the Hurricane? I remember they were similar, isn't it?

Answer = Yes! (probably)... Chambers list them as the same part OS158
