    Oaks Winter Open Rnd 1 10-11-13

    Oaks Winter Open, Rnd 1
    30 shot course set to 2013 UKAHFT rules.

    All safe shooters welcome, if you are an Oakie and want to shoot, turn up to set out please

    Oakies please arrive on Sunday around 7am to help set out!

    we will be signing in from 8am and start shooting at 9am.

    Tea, coffee, and biscuits available, Donation in cup please! (Tels Rule)

    Members £2 and visitors £6

    Bit of 'Bump it up'!!

    Wood is all set so no need for Oakies to do anything Sat!
    14 targets to put out in the field Sunday at 7am, please be there..

    The course is currently closed (plink open) please refrain from being nosey...

    Went down in the still gloom this afternoon to zero the 98 on the plink. PJ was also there playing around.
    We obviously averted our eyes but peg 1 is very close. In the twighlight it appears to have a very, very small kill zone.
    Maybe a springer is ambitious
    Falcon Lighthunter (.177),Air Arms S400 (.22),Weihrauch HW98 (.177),Hatsan 55S (.177), TH78D (.22) & a 2240 (.22)

    No Lookee Lookee

    Shot blindfolded with PJ this morning on the plink. Didn't help his EV zeroing though!
    Once back in car park noticed horned cows in upper field and two horses with winter coats on in lower shooting field.
    Is it round-up time?
