Well. That was a fun morning.

Got up nice and early to read the latest exchanges between Spongetta and Simmmo. Packed car with sufficient shootin stuff to ensure I was equiped to thrash both hobbits and fairies. Set off in plenty of time to be with you for an early start.

But the aged MG would let me get no further than half way round the one way system in town before she died - completely. No electrics whatsoever; not even hazard lights

Spent a merry 45 mins standing up on the crash barrier, waving madly at traffic to avoid it piling in to back of said MG, before arrival of rescue.

Took 15 mins or so before he discovered fractured earth cable.

Temp repair has got me home and, hopefully, will hold together before it goes in to garage tomorrow - where it was already booked in for service.

I think the MG mut know that I've finally spotted a likely replacement, due to be viewed next weekend in Northampton on my way to the Gathering.

Hope you guys (and gals - Kate) have fun. With luck, I'll get over to Round 2.

Likely to be even more windy!!!!

Yes great shoot thanks Oakies. Rubbish score but the wind was so unpredicatable it blew my pellet right into the free stander kill zone and knocked it down, can never normally get those!!!!
