    Webley junior mk1 rear sight

I have an old webley junior mk1 pistol that has the rear sight notch offset from the centre ( fixed metal type).

Is this quite common or was there a miss aligned machine when it was being made.

I would post this in the collectors section for a faster response.

    Point of aim.

If your pistol shoots to one side of the point of aim, it would seem that it has a machining error. If it shoots on the point of aim, that is how it is meant to be.
Webleys certainly did a bit of hand tweaking to make sure pistols were up to scratch, but moving over the notch on a fixed rear sight is a hard one to believe!
It could have been lowered and re-cut by an earlier owner, you would have to compare it with a "right" one.
