    Smile Newbie wanting club/range advice.

    Hello,

I am a new member to the board and have a new gun and have nowhere to shoot!

I would love to hear from anyone who can recommend a club/range who will put up with me and my 16 year old son. Preferably in London area or Chichester way where I spend some time.

I am sure this has been asked before by many newbies and apologise in advance if this is boring but am really looking forward to using the gun and having a go.

Any advice gratefully accepted. Look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards

    Danny

Have a look at the Lea Valley club in Hertford. Been going there for about 5 weeks now, really good atmosphere with helpful club members and the ranges are kept well.

    Have a look at

    http://www.lvagc.com/

It's open every Saturday at 9.30am.

You could always try Cobham. It is just off the A3 near the M25 junction.

Which part of London are you from? Cobham is a small friendly club, but doent host comps, they do however run a "team" The added bonus is that its between London and Chichester

Ford has an air rifle range/club and is very close to Chichester.

Their number is probably on the net.

They sound like a good bunch, but clubs are not my thing

Dont mention calobres, I did it once but I think I got away with it

Pop along to Ford Ranges. It is based on Ford Airfield, Yapton and is open every day from 10 am to 8 pm. You can shoot air rifle (HFT events regularly put on), pistol, soft air and rimfire.

Children are welcome anytime. Always lots around so could meet new friends. Junior coaching done Mondays and Tuesdays.

    Please come along!
