    Sorted.
    Cocking it first was the key.
    The end cap screws in to pierce and then 1/2 turn out to release the gas.
    Now the problem is that I find it impossible to shoot one pellet without immediately sending all its friends straight after it!
    It'll cost a fortune in pellets and gas - this is the most fun I've ever had with an air pistol

    It's the little things that catch you out!
    Verminpells are best in these pistols.
    Wait till you shoot it in warm weather.

    I find Eley Wasps work very well too.......no jams.

    I've been putting Crosman Accupell in - cycles faultlessly.
    I can't get my Combro to fit safely on the end of the pistol, but it seems to be quite lively in the muzzle energy department!

    Crosman 600s are a bit like Pringles...once you pop you just can't stop
