Hi Robin,

I have been actively looking for Pam's Model 75 for a couple of years now but have not seen anything that resembles it.

On the "number three bus" principle and the fact that winter is approaching fast why not make a replica and use it as bait?

I have some Model 75 rifles here at the moment and a nice winter project could see Pam shooting a Model 75 Special again.

This is when the "number three bus" theory will probably "kick-in" and the original Pam Special will turn up and give you the opportunity to see how good your memory of it was and if you have managed to make a better conversion this second time around.

The final part of the project would be to find some competition stickers from the time period and have them scanned and reproduced to see if you can remember where they were positioned on the stock. This could replace the "pin the tail on the donkey" game over Christmas !

Having reached this happy situation ( and Pam's Original Special makes a predictable re-appearance) you can then choose whether to keep your new replica, sell it, or use it in your current training project where it could come in handy.
