Looks like there might be the odd drop (Metcheck recons a total of 1mm of rain) but wind of 13-30mph so the field should be entertaining!

We have moved some targets around in the wood today but did not respray all the targets as it was chucking it down, we will head out and set the field first thing but must also remember to spray the wood up as well........

How many will be sporting FTP900's

    So how many?
3 that I know of so far.

It should be a good outing, do not want to get it wet though.

Hoping an Iden Fern shooter will bring my mat back, left it at the last shoot and I know Andy has it at Iden.

    Watching the weather with interest

wind screen wiper linkage just broke off on the way home form work / dog walking, nearly crashed the car in the pi$$ing rain, couldn't see two
inches in front of me with oncoming head lights on me.

just bodged it up with the elusive cable tie, would prefer no rain if driving tomorrow, will check weather in the morning and make a decision then.

Man Flu has scuppered my plans of coming over and showing you all how to shoot a springer properly

Just waiting for the paramedics and Harley street surgeons to come and make me comfortable ( You all know how bad man flu can be !!)

    I manned up...but

Really looking forward to a new venue and a new bunch of like minded fools

Set off in torrential rain with the sat-nav telling me arrival 0755.

Local roads were seriously "wet", managed a couple of miles before the car in front of me aquaplaned off the road

Stopped to help, no one hurt but a few tears

So arrived at the farm at 0850 and it had cleared a bit, drove round what looked like the bits I was allowed to drive round and found a couple of groups of cars but no people, what to do...... hate being late and didnt want to walk in on a shoot in action so I went home with my tail down.

I will be there next time - can someone tell me where it actually is

Anyway, off to Ford for an hour then tinkering in the workshop

    Well Charles alias Michael Fish.

You were right with the wind, rain however seemed to be a bit out for the first half of the shoot LOL.

Enjoyed the shoot if a little on the damp side

Will not make the turkey shoot have to do pick up at Airport.

Hope you all have a wonderful Xmas see you in the New Year Nigel (Buchan)
