    Pellets For Bell Target Shooting

Hello, I shoot 6yd bell target with a 3/8th centre hole and wondered what advice other shooters could give as regards the .177 pellets available. I shoot a 300s and use a finale match 4.49 pellet that weighs 8.2g but I have also tried lighter hobby pellets 7g. The lighter the faster the pellet but what about accuracy and price. Is it worth paying for the top match pellets and what about pointed pellets would these deflect into the centre hole more easily than the flat or domed pellets?

You could try RWS R10s, a very popular and excellent match pellet. However, we do very well with the humble Superdome.

This is regularly shot in Original 75s, Weihrauch HW55s, Walther LGs, and the Feinwerkbau 300s, etc, at our club.

    Kind regards,

    Phil

You could try asking the Clangers what pellets they use
