my short review of my impact airgun gsx200 .177

ok I was going to do a full shot count over my f1 crony but as with the crappy low light conditions and pooring rain I just did a shot count in my workshop so here are my finding's
    gsx 200 .177
    fill pressure 200 bar
    15 x 17shot mag's =255 shot's
100 bar left showing on the guage and on my dive cylinder when I charged it up
so according to that it use's 0.3 bar per shot shooting jsb's 8.4 @11.7 f/lb
so maybe if I had enough air in my dive cylinder to fill to 220 bar I should be getting about 320 shot's ,

It's like shooting a well fettled rapid straight out of the box ,the stock shoulder's like a custom fitted stock ,it's well balanced and very pointable with the barrel being only 14 inche's long I was supprised just how quiet it is with wot look's like the old long series silencer fitted with a different baffle arrangement inside, the trigger unit is the same mk4 unit as fitted to the later rapid's but it's been worked on and you can tell this straight away ...very light and a crisp clean break ,the cocking and firing of the action tell's me that it's been improved over the old block's by that I mean a different firing valve ,modified hammer and better spring setup's all aid consistency and air usage ,this is further enhanced by the modified regulater all of which will save money in the long run as guy's wont have to do any mod's because there already fitted as standard, the quickfill is a very good addition as you don't have to take the bottle off ,accuracy wise I cant find fault with the lw barrel very good machineing work on the crown and also come's screwcut should you want to change the silencer for something else ,the magazine supplied work's flawless very smooth loading all backed by a 10 year warranty mean's this is a serious piece of kit well worth the money I think , later
