Ciao,

Starting from I red this forum for first time, i'm looking for understanding the merits and defects of PCP guns!

I check out in Daystate webpage.

Can you explain me the real difference between MK3 and X2? They have a similar looking but MK£ has an electronic trigger against X2 that hasn't. Does that mean more shooting accuracy by MK3? and when the battery are low what do you do (I know that you charge them, but if it happen in the filed?)

Can you talk about that rifle a little bit.. if possible also comparing it to MK3 and X2...

Do you prefer high power or standard power (12 ft/lb) in your games?

Can you help me in understanding, please??

The MKIII is availalbe in three diffreent models, F.T., R.T and Sport
Both the F.T and R.T have electronic triggers, regulator (making the shots more consistant) and the R.T. comes with a lovely Garry Cane walnut thumbhole stock.
The MKIII Sport is basicly the same but with out the fancy bits. Its still got a walnut thumbhole stock but no regulator but the power is controled with the electronic's thus making this rifle as consistant as the R.T. it may even be more consistant.

X2's are a standard manual 2 stage fully adjustable trigger, they are avaialble in a non regulated model and regulated model. Not sure exaclty how much the regulator is more but I would imagine £100.00.

Do a google search on the Daystate MKIII, and you might be able to find more information than what I have told you.

I've no experience with the X2 but own a Mk111 RT and an Air Arms 410 currently being modified at GML. The MK111 is a remarkable piece of engineering and arguably the most capable air rifle on the market. However the Air Arms 400/410 runs a very close second and is considerably cheaper to buy, at least in the UK. Check out the Air Arms web site and this forum for more information.

Which barrel lengh do you think can be good for FAC air rifle and for FREE one?

Air arms 400 and 410 are different by barrel lengh, 410 has a longer barrel and if i don't make mistake the 410 is high power only...

400 and 410 are the same rifle but 410 is the 10 shot version.
Some published pictures have been incorrectly labelled.
The 400/410K is the short (Karbine) version and the 400/410 Classic is the longer version. There is the even longer 400/410E (Extra high power) for FAC levels.
