Oil and foam can cause marks.
The surface of the pistol needs to be kept clean rather than oiled as it is not blued.

They dont need much maintenance as you can see from the handbook.
Keep gun /household oil away from the valve. Put Pellgun oil on the tip of a co2 capsule now and again.
Probably best to avoid Crosman capsules as they have oil in them which I dont think is needed in these guns. Ok as an alternative to the Pellgun oil.
Another option is the Walther cleaning capsule which you can use at long intervals.
Messy but can work wonders on a tired Umarex.
Dont use indoors unless you want an oily room!
Looked after your pistol should be fine for a few years.
