Very nice, the barrel is especially impressive. It gets me why noone has made (or patented) spiral bolts so as the air rotates into the barrel to speed it by reducing the turn radii as in F1 inlet valves, it seems to be one of the more critical points but AFAIK noone has touched on it? Your results look great too, even quackenbush doesn't get more than a few shots before a refil, Suprising to see so many out af a 9mm stealth. So how bout starting totally from scratch? BTW that strange sweedish really does my head in

I would really love to build an airgun from scratch, either a single shot pcp or a Brocock XL (air cartridges the same size as real rifle cartridges).
The rifle would look exactly like a real rifle (as the ISP SPARTAN ).

Or perhaps just make air cartridges to fit my 9.3x62 rifle? Or a 12G shotgun?

At the FX do, you dont't work there do you (given the number of FXer in your sig)? Small world... Unfortunatly I have only met the Dane, very nice guy even if he is lidt maerkligsproget, heldigvis kan han ogsaa lidt englisk .

Yeah those things are real pretty . and i think damn good value... I can't say i like the cartriges, just guessing but seem too fiddly and limited power wise.

Why not go the whole hog and be the first to make a large caliber multishot. 2 shot is probably easiest, but if it is large caliber it wouldnt need that big a mag, given the amount of air used 4 shot would probably be maximum before needing a top up unless you can hide multiple cylinders in the stock and for end.

Well, if a .38 size TAC can give 12 fpe, I guess a 9.3x62 size TAC could give about 40?

As You know, airguns over 10J require an FAC in Sweden. Either for target or for hunting. I don't think there's much hope of obtaining a target FAC for a big bore airgun. (I have a target FAC for the Typhoon).
As for hunting rifles, the maximum allowed is 6 in Sweden, and I already have the Stealth on a hunting FAC.
However, a TAC that fits in my 9.3x62 hunting rifle would probably be OK...

And, no, I don't work at/for FX, but I visit them a few times a year.
