I have just been given a SKAN.A.R. I know nothing about them, i have not even seen one before. It has the air bottle inside the stock, i have not loaded it up, but it looks like it would hold about 80 - 90 pellets.
I would like to give it a good strip and clean. Does anyone know if there was ever a BULMER DOES A STRIP done on a Skan.
Its not loading the pellets, so i will have to work out if that part of the mechanism is adjustable.
I would be grateful if anyone has any words of wisdom on this rifle before i look deeper into it.
Thank you in advance.
Phil

Some limited info here:
http://www.skanar.co.uk/
I used to have the Skan r32
Jon - Buddyboy - has an early mk2 I believe, so he may be able to help with small tweaks.
Word to the wise - don't try a stripdown yourself
The pellet feed needs to be adjusted for the exact length of pellet you're using too, just any old ammo won't cycle
Good search on here should turn up a few tales, and Mike Childs (although a prize tit when the mood takes him) will still service the full range of Skan rifles - details on the site above.
Cracking rifles when they're set up properly though, albeit a little 'meccano' for some people's tastes - I'd buy another one if the opportunity arose
