Remington 1858 Stainless Target .44 for sale

I have one of these for sale that I had from new about a year ago. It's in good condition. I've put just under 100 rounds through it so there's most of a tub of 777 to go with it too. Also a powder dispenser, nipple wrench and a cap dispenser tool.

I've just not got around to using it much so it needs to go. I'm looking for £225 ono. I'm based in Basingstoke but also get up to Bisley about once a month if that helps. I can supply photos if that would help or you can come and have a look if you're local.

    Thanks,
    Paul.

Morning, Paul - I might have a customer for you in deepest UK. He's really looking for a Ruger Old Army, but finding one is a real problem. This is a very viable and more accessible alternative, IMO. I've emole him about it just now. He is not a member here, so you getting back to him will entail going through me intitially, after that, it's down to the two of you.

Am I asking too much for this or is nothing shifting at the moment?

There about £400 new so I thought this was a good price.

    .

    Yep,
seems like a good price and if its still for sale when my variation comes through I'll be giving you a shout.
May seem selfish but I hope you dont have any interest in your sale untill I get my ticket.

It is the adjustable sights model. There's a few pictures here that I took a while back:

They're not great but they do allow you to see the model. No laughing at my dodgy DIY loading stand, please. :-)

(I'm on holiday from lunch time today until Monday so replies may be a little delayed depending on internet availability.)

    For Pietta, £225 is plenty.
They do have a larger feel than Uberti which suits most.
    Good luck anyway.

I'll knock this down to £200 if that helps anyone to make up their mind.

    Hi ptheta,
I've just joined this forum, I've been lurking for a while now. Anyhow, I've just had my variation back from Thames Valley and wouldn't you know it I have a slot for a .44 muzzle loading revolver.
I can't pm you (I think) its my first post but I'm not far from you at all.
Would love to have a chat (somehow)

    Regards
