    Buying an airgun now

Would you buy another airgun now given that the laws are supposed to change in july ?

    Without a doubt.
I am hopefully getting an MFR as soon as my test results come through.

I'd sooner continue to enjoy my sport rather than sitting around with my thumb up my **** worrying about supposed 'law changes' every ten minutes

I'd suggest everyone else do the same...

    Ditto Dan

Seems that sales have hit a hiatus though

They know that you have it how?
If theres a ban mine will just be going for a little sleepy-byes until I want to shoot it and then it will be back to bed.

good point but the main attraction to airguns for me is shooting them not looking at them

Just bought an s410k and HW97k.

If the law changes, then we just have to deal with it. Could it be another Brocock job where air rifles go on ticket?

    I doubt it.

There were too many people who didnt get the information regarding the Brocock changes that have been criminalised.

Can HMG afford to do the same to 10 - 15% of the population?

If people realy thought a ban was coming the second hand market would be flooded.

What laws are changing. Little bit of scaremongering going on I think. An outright ban with the removal of all our airguns, I don't think so. Tightening up, probably. Though Scotland may come off worse. Good job my son has just bought a house in England. Will move my safes over the border if things ever do come to the worst.

Same as that 2 weeks ago ...and still gaot a stiffie

I'll skip all the crap about cold dead fingers to say this.

They had enough trouble getting the extremely dodgy hunting with dogs ban through, which may well end up getting repealed at some stage. They have far fewer seats now, and I doubt there are more fox hunters than airgunners (but I may be wrong).

I just hope it is all crap, but I am ready if it does happen.
