    Cheers,

    John.

    Hi John

I have a little fishing pond (1/3 acre) that folks dangle their maggots in.

I have a few different types of fish in there : -

    Common carp
    Mirror carp
    Leather carp
    Ghost carp
    Crucian carp
    Rud
    Roach
    Perch
    Tench
    Gudgeon
    Golden Orfe

I think that's all of them.

The biggest fish I put in there weighed 28Lbs but that was ten years ago.

I don't do day tickets for it as the insurance would kill the job so it's just fished by friends and family --- and BBS members of course.
I have a strange sort of weed in the pond --- Onion Weed ? which is a nightmare to get rid of and is gradually taking over, so I must try to spray it off this year as I can't reach it with a 15 ton track machine anymore.

I also have a little Koi pond behind my workshop where I keep the nice fish --- these are only up to about 10Lbs.

    All the best Mick

    Well Jim

During the 1960s When cows were in the field in the summer they used to get in shallow end of the pond to cool their udders off, they didn't just wee in the pond.

The cows didn't bother me and my brother we just used to swim in the deep end when they were in.

But in the dead of night you can sometimes faintly here someone call out these immortal words: -

    I don't really know Craig

Is he the sort of nasty dog that could playfully jump up and bite TonyL in the bollocks?

Wouldn't be that hard to shoot a horse though, would it?

I suppose it depends how far away it was...

Anyway - bad idea! Horses are nice and certainly shouldn't be shot at
