It looks like it could be a Relum. pity there's not any close up photos.
Looks well made and prewar European? I haven’t seen it before? No markings

Steve, did you snag that rascal? I was tempted but didn't think I could make the rust disappear. To me it looks Belgian or French with the fancy trigger guard, checkered straight-hand stock, and swoopy rear cap. Neato gun!

Actually fasinating that no one knows this rifle. Now I really wish I had picked it up to examine it. It was only $50.
Cool air rifle. It looks maybe Polish or Finnish to me. Grandfather of the Beeman C1

Looks familiar - but so do most airguns to me.

The sloping cylinder end and looks a lot like this Duo II from Czechoslovakia, ca. 1932, but there the similarity seems to end.
I thought it could have been a Lincoln Comet Deluxe at first due to the sloping aft but there's differences!
I only have the action, No stock so not sure what it would look like built up!
Also, This one has markings on as to the manufacturer!

Of course, the angle of slope on these two rifles' trigger blocks is different...

I am pretty sure its an S.A.R from japan and a very early one at that, i would have snapped that up given the chance as they are quite rare in the uk
I have a 60's junior S.A.R, totally different design to that but extremely well made and accurate
