I can also confirm that the EyePal patch from Pyramid Air works very well on std Eye glasses.
The absolute best are fully customized lenses in shooting frames designed to match your eyes and distances to pistol sight and target.
I have both and have found that the EyePal patch even improves the custom shooting frames.

As far as i can determine the tiny hole in the EyePal increases the Depth of Field and pull more distances into focus. The only downside is that the small hole reduces the total amount light transmitted. With well light targets i find no problem.
