Is Airgun World or Airgunner going to do an article in one of their mags for this event.
I just hope that TD knows about the event.
My previous efforts to promote a similar event last year were completely ignored by the mags.
I handed their reps at the shooting show in 2013 hard copies of a flyer for our event (last year) and was asked to also send them an electronic copy which I did. So they knew of the event.
I also e-mailed TD and then later his assistant a write up on the event but got no response from either gentlemen, not even a no-thanks John
The event raised £700 for charity and was well worth the effort.
The write up eventually went into print in Danny's splendid electronic magazine, so it reached those who were interested in collecting and older types of airgun. Thanks again Danny.
The event is again being run to raise funds for the RBL Poppy Appeal and that is my priority, to raise funds for a good cause.
The magazines no longer interest me.

Hi John it's a shame that they can't promote this event as it is for a realy good cause the RBL, lets hope we can make more money than last year as that is the main objective at the end of the day.and many thanks for all your effort in doing this.
What sort of stuff will be for sale ?
How many stands will be there.

The last one was a great day out, loads of nice stuff on offer, I'm still kicking myself for not buying the Centenary BSA, snapped up at a very fair price after I looked at it. I'll be at the next one.
Mel.
A Pro-elite in .177 (sub 12 ft lbs). Not many about, but a nice one may turn up eventually, although I may have to settle for a HW 98 instead.
After our last fayre it was not until I got home and started to look at all the pics myself and Dunks (Peter) had taken, that I realised just how many nice old Classics had been for sale on the day.
Bring plenty of cash would be my advice, many of the airguns for sale will be at very good prices and we will have a chrono available for anyone to test a rifle/pistol with (before buying)
