I have a B with this retailer's name but it didn't cost anywhere near the amount being asked!

    Crazy prices???!!!

    What on earth???

£225 for a cadet? More for webley MkIIs than for a MkI?
How many MkIIs ??? At those prices no wonder they're piling up. If their buy in prices reflect their retail, it's good place to off load anything you no longer need.

    The whole world's going mad

No worries mate...I have just finished my early font "A" and "C" letter stamps as I write this, so look out for some more rare bargains

Just looked at the gun in question, the sights look iffy to me, but can't be certain...The rear looks on backwards for starters and suspiciously like a later unit (Model D)...might be wrong, but a decent photo would help

Top sight is Lincoln / The BSA / Improved model B

I'm sure I've seen the retailers stamp before, was it another trading name for Lincoln Jeffries after they sold up ?

I think they were LJ's neighbours as the address is very close. As this Retailer mark has been seen on Improved Model Bs, the rifles are contemporary to Lincoln manufacture. Just noticed I also have a Light with this stamp as well as the B.

    Kind regards,

    John
