Today I find myself in posession of a Gammo G1200, condition unknown but at fifteen quid I couldn't resist it, I've never seen one before, what is it?

I know I said 'in posession' but I won't have it in my hands till Monday so don't know if it's working or not. I've read a little about them online, does it need special co2 cartridges? are they rechargeable? Do they only use Gammo flat pellets?

Hi Mel,

there are two different versions with regards to the co2, onle takes the caplets and the other is a small bulk fill bottle (just google for pics)

pellets are critical!! its not just the length but how the pellets stack on each other , gamo flat heads work fine but if your stuck the gamo lead ball works just as well.

as already stated its a multi shot c02 rifle with a fore end pump action you will get around 40 shots per co2 cartridge its a nice little back yard plinker worth keeping if in working order probably worth around £60 to £70 in working order.
